All drives including the RED ones will last exactly as long as it needs to and no longer. For the most part, all drives are pretty much equal except the storage size. In the end it is pretty much about the warranty and life expectancy (which expires exactly 1 day after your warranty period). I got a mixture of Green 2TB drives and Black 2TB drives.įrom another posts a WD Moderator doesn’t recommend using them which is funny because most of these drives don’t really differ much spin faster, spin greener, spin slower, faster or slower data transfer, helium filled, chocolate filled, greener or not greener. Can we use Green/Black/Purple WD Drives in the EX2?Ī. Now that I know that Staples allows open hard drive returns, when the 12TB drives are available, I’ll check them out and if they work they might be keepers too. I suspect that the EX2 Ultra can support the 12TB gold drives and perhaps the 16TB when available. I don’t understand why WD does this? The only other company that does this is Microsoft with their red status bar at 80% full when a drive is mapped. One thing I hated most was the red led turning on after the drive is 95% full. I’ve added data till it had only 40GB space left, then checking that all data is readable. Currently I have two 10TB Gold WD in my EX2 Ultra and I’ve tested them throughly to ensure that it is really using all the available space and not just reporting 10TB mirrored and failing after 8TB. What is the Max Hard drive size supported by the EX2 Ultra?Ī. The other advantage is that the OS is not stored on the disk itself, allowing you to replace the drives with impunity. It even runs the same Busy Box with all the bells and whistles (without hacking) like Apps, iSCSI, mirror drives and so on. The EX2 Ultra is exactly the same as the Single Drive My Cloud Gen 2. The problem was that nobody could give me answers, but all that has changed as I recently invested in four used 2TB WD green drives just for the purpose for testing. *8:33AM Feb 20th, 2018 updated to include iscsi and what is it.Īs mentioned in multiple various posts by me, the EX2/Mirror cloud had been an enclosure that I have been coveting for a more than half a decade. *1:33AM Feb 20th,2018 updated to include expand warning!! *11:43AM Feb 27th 2018 updated iSCSI speeds *1:14pm Mar 2nd, 2018 changed strategy on Fan speed control using Python Program

Once they lose it, cancel Wraith Form early and attack them at point-blank range before their cooldown timer expires. Try luring the enemy to waste some strong attack by staying close to them and using Wraith Form to avoid it, such as Roadhog's Hook or Cassidy's Flashbang. It will also remove the effect of Ana's Biotic Grenade and Widowmaker's Venom Mine. Using Wraith Form will remove Zenyatta's Orb Of Discord as well as Tracer's Pulse Bomb.Try to anticipate your enemy's attacks and use Wraith Form before they hit. When timed properly, Reaper can avoid potentially deadly attacks with this ability, such as Roadhog's Chain Hook, Reinhardt's Charge, or Cassidy's Flashbang.Offensively, it can also be used to chase down enemies due to the speed increase. If you suddenly find yourself surrounded by enemies, activate Wraith Form and make a break for the safest location you can find. This is Reaper's main method of escape. However, he cannot attack or use any abilities during this time. While in this form, he is invincible and untargetable by any enemy weapons or abilities and ignores enemy collision. Wraith Form: When activated, Reaper assumes a gaseous purple form for a short period of time.As the shotguns have high damage falloff and a wide spread, aim to get up close to your enemies so that you can deal the most damage possible.Hellfire Shotguns deal extremely high damage at short range, allowing Reaper to quickly kill targets that he gets the jump on, especially Tanks with large hitboxes which allows most of the pellets to connect. These shotguns have a wide spread and deal high damage at short range, but have high damage falloff past that range. The primary fire will cause Reaper to alternate shooting his two shotguns, with no secondary fire mode. Hellfire Shotguns: Reaper's primary weapon. If up against multiple opponents, aim to damage the targets with the highest Health to maintain your own Health. This can provide Reaper with valuable in-combat healing. This can help him to survive for long periods of time in areas without many Health Packs. This provides Reaper with a steady stream of healing, so long as he's in combat. As Reaper damages his foes, he receives a portion of the damage he deals back as Health. The Reaping (Passive): Reaper's sustain ability.Reaper is most effective in a team composition or a map that keeps the fight in close-quarters. Death Blossom is easy to shut down by stunning Reaper or blocking it with a friendly barrier. Reaper works best in close-combat and is nearly useless in fighting at mid- to- long range due to quick damage falloff and the large spread of his weapon. Reaper lacks in-combat mobility, as his Wraith Form is mainly used to save his life and escape from near-death situations, and Shadow Step is very loud and makes Reaper unable to move for a while, so he becomes easy prey if spotted. Reaper's relative simplicity makes him a good hero for new players, while still remaining deadly in experienced hands. Its high constant damage can tear most heroes to shreds if they are not prepared. When the main fight begins, Death Blossom can turn the tide of battle when using it in the middle of the fight. Shadow Step is another flanking ability provided enough time to set it up, he can use it to move to any location within his line-of-sight. Wraith Form is one of the greatest invulnerability tools in the game Reaper can use it to escape or chase his enemies thanks to his increased speed and immediate reload. While Smalltalk was influenced by the ideas introduced in Simula 67 it was designed to be a fully dynamic system in which classes could be created and modified dynamically. Smalltalk went through various versions and interest in the language grew. Smalltalk became noted for its application of object orientation at the language-level and its graphical development environment. ![]() Smalltalk-72 included a programming environment and was dynamically typed, and at first was interpreted, not compiled. In the 1970s, the first version of the Smalltalk programming language was developed at Xerox PARC by Alan Kay, Dan Ingalls and Adele Goldberg. The object-oriented Simula programming language was used mainly by researchers involved with physical modelling, such as models to study and improve the movement of ships and their content through cargo ports. Simula introduced important concepts that are today an essential part of object-oriented programming, such as class and object, inheritance, and dynamic binding. Īlso, an MIT ALGOL version, AED-0, established a direct link between data structures ("plexes", in that dialect) and procedures, prefiguring what were later termed "messages", "methods", and "member functions". I thought of objects being like biological cells and/or individual computers on a network, only able to communicate with messages (so messaging came at the very beginning – it took a while to see how to do messaging in a programming language efficiently enough to be useful).Īnother early MIT example was Sketchpad created by Ivan Sutherland in 1960–1961 in the glossary of the 1963 technical report based on his dissertation about Sketchpad, Sutherland defined notions of "object" and "instance" (with the class concept covered by "master" or "definition"), albeit specialized to graphical interaction. A 1976 MIT memo co-authored by Barbara Liskov lists Simula 67, CLU, and Alphard as object-oriented languages, but does not mention Smalltalk. Although sometimes called "the father of object-oriented programming", Alan Kay has differentiated his notion of OO from the more conventional abstract data type notion of object, and has implied that the computer science establishment did not adopt his notion. In the environment of the artificial intelligence group, as early as 1960, "object" could refer to identified items ( LISP atoms) with properties (attributes) Alan Kay later cited a detailed understanding of LISP internals as a strong influence on his thinking in 1966, and that he used the term "object-oriented programming" in conversation as early as 1967. Terminology invoking "objects" in the modern sense of object-oriented programming made its first appearance at MIT in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Through inheritance a subclass can be created as subset of the Button class. This Button class has variables for data, and functions. ![]() Significant object-oriented languages include: Ada, ActionScript, C++, Common Lisp, C#, Dart, Eiffel, Fortran 2003, Haxe, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Logo, MATLAB, Objective-C, Object Pascal, Perl, PHP, Python, R, Raku, Ruby, Scala, SIMSCRIPT, Simula, Smalltalk, Swift, Vala and Visual Basic.NET. Many of the most widely used programming languages (such as C++, Java, Python, etc.) are multi-paradigm and they support object-oriented programming to a greater or lesser degree, typically in combination with imperative, procedural programming. OOP languages are diverse, but the most popular ones are class-based, meaning that objects are instances of classes, which also determine their types. In OOP, computer programs are designed by making them out of objects that interact with one another. In this brand of OOP, there is usually a special name such as this or self used to refer to the current object. Object-oriented programming ( OOP) is a programming paradigm based on the concept of objects, which can contain data and code: data in the form of fields (often known as attributes or properties), and code in the form of procedures (often known as methods).Ī common feature of objects is that methods are attached to them and can access and modify the object's data fields. For other meanings of object-oriented, see Object-orientation. This seems to be true even if the skin is damaged, for example, sunburnt.Īll in all, if you've found a Zinc Oxide sunscreen that you are happy to use every single day, that's fantastic and we suggest you stick with it. But luckily, so far research shows that sunscreen nanoparticles are not absorbed but remain on the surface of the skin or in the uppermost (dead) layer of the skin. We wrote more about nanoparticles and the concerns around them here, but the gist is that if nanoparticles were absorbed into the skin that would be a reason for legitimate health concerns. Still, it's white and disturbing enough to use Zinc Oxide nanoparticles more and more often. Pinnell, it's slightly less white than TiO2. It leaves a disturbing whitish tint on the skin, although, according to a 2000 research paper by Dr. It's also often used to treat skin irritations such as diaper rash.Īs for the disadvantages, Zinc Oxide is also not cosmetically elegant. So much so that Zinc Oxide also counts as a skin protectant and anti-irritant. It's also highly stable and non-irritating. It protects against UVB, UVA II, and UVA I almost uniformly, and is considered to be the broadest range sunscreen available today. The first main difference is that while TiO2 gives a nice broad spectrum protection, Zinc Oxide has an even nicer and even broader spectrum protection. ![]() Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Liquid Endosperm ![]() To access the history feature, you just press on the clock. Finally, I can measure cortisol awakening response in dried urine, which I use clinically for patients with mood disorders like depression. Dried urine also provides free and metabolized cortisol, which I find to be clinically helpful, especially in patients with normal serum cortisol. I used to ask my patients to do at-home 24-hour urine tests, which average the cortisol level over the course of the day, but it don’t tell you about variations in the stress response control system, the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis.īecause of that, my favorite at-home test is dried urine for several reasons: It provides the cortisol level over the course of the day, at four points (usually upon awakening, before lunch and dinner, and before bed). Finally, the serum cortisol test provides only a snapshot of total cortisol while the needle is in the vein, not over the course of the day like four-point dried urine testing or saliva testing. Additionally, the serum or plasma tells you total cortisol, not the free level of cortisol, which is biologically active. If you’re stressed about it or have a needle phobia that can give you a false positive result.
